Privacy Policy
Scope
This policy explains how NOT Networks handles information through its website, licensing service, support, and Network Operations Toolkit.
Information we receive
- Customer account information such as company, contact name, email, license tier, payment or subscription status, and support communications.
- Licensing metadata: license-key hash and hint, random installation identifier, application version, aggregate monitored-node count, check-in times, cryptographic installation public key, coarse country code, and an HMAC-hashed source address used for fraud or clone detection.
- Security and operational logs, including administrative actions, download events, failures, and service health.
- Feedback and information Customer chooses to provide.
Aruba and customer network data
Aruba API credentials, device records, client records, IP or MAC addresses, serial numbers, site data, reports, user databases, and cached network information remain in Customer’s installation and are not transmitted to the NOT licensing service. Operational modules use customer-supplied credentials for read-only requests. Administration tools may perform authorized write actions only when invoked by a permitted administrator. Customer controls this processing and is responsible for its authority, role assignments, and notices to users.
Uses
We use information to provide and secure licensing and downloads, enforce tiers, detect license sharing, deliver support, administer subscriptions, maintain service reliability, comply with law, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
Optional website analytics and cookies
If you select Accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 to measure website page visits and interactions, including successful access requests and clicks on contact, download, and external links. Google processes browser and device information, cookie identifiers, and interaction data to provide analytics. We do not include your form email, company, monitored-node count, license keys, or customer network records in our custom analytics events. Our page URLs exclude query strings and fragments.
Analytics is off until you accept. Rejecting analytics does not prevent use of the website. Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change your choice. We remember your choice in this browser for up to 180 days using local storage. If storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to the current page. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics on this site, removes accessible first-party GA cookies, and reloads the page to unload the analytics script; previously collected data is not automatically erased.
After acceptance, Google Analytics may set first-party _ga cookies to distinguish visits. Cookie duration and analytics retention depend on our Google Analytics property settings. Google may process analytics information in the United States and other locations. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our website configuration. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose the minimum necessary information to infrastructure, security, communications, payment, or professional-service providers acting for us; to comply with law or protect rights and safety; or in a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. Aruba-derived device-level data is not shared with these providers by our licensing service because it is not collected there.
Retention
We retain account, licensing, transaction, acceptance, and security records while an account is active and afterward as reasonably necessary for contracts, fraud prevention, disputes, tax or accounting, backups, and legal obligations. Customer controls retention of locally stored application data.
Security
We use HTTPS, hashed license keys and source addresses, cryptographic signing, MFA for administration, access controls, encrypted customer credential storage, and backups. No safeguard eliminates all risk.
Choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, or object to certain processing. Some records must be retained for security, transactions, or law. Send requests to support@notnetworks.com.
Children and transfers
The service is for organizations and adults, not children under 13. Information may be processed in the United States. Customers are responsible for lawful international transfers involving data in their own connected systems.
Changes
Material changes will be posted with a new version and effective date and, where appropriate, require renewed acceptance.
